Mihoshi update....just had to replace battery. Duralast from autozone lasted just over 10 years. Not too bad. However. I had been running a Harbor Freight hard mounted trickle charger on it, the 1.5 amp one--Viking. When I picked up new battery, Duralast from Sams club...decided to start checking voltages on my chargers. The Viking started out around 14 volts, which I thought was high, then it started going erratic, jumping up close to 20 volts, back down, and then back up. At one point my multimeter freaked out and posted OL which I presume to be an overload read. 
Not going to buy any more Viking stuff. Went with a Noco Genius 2d, which seems to be working fine. Volting at about 13.5 when it is showing a charge. It is quite alarming to me that different chargers are doing such diverse and weird things. My trusty Everstart walmart 4 amp consistently charges a bit over 13, but when it is showing a battery is fully charged, the Noco says oh no it isn't...and charges it up some more. Anyways...no more Harbor Freight Viking stuff for me.
Oh also also...still getting an intermittent engine check light. EFI Live says Transmission Shift Solenoid issue, can't remember the actual code right now. My solution to this is to drive the piss out of it. Running and driving fine. Drove to Wetumpka AL from Bham a few weeks ago, kept lighting up on me...then just up and stops doing it, after about 20 miles. Rest of the drive down AND back, nothing lighting up, running amazingly well. 28 mpg. Back home, crank her up after the battery replacement, and up it starts doing it again.
Then stops. Bizarre. 
Makes me a bit nervous, but plan is to keep on trucking.
